David & Tiresa's Wedding - How did he Propose?
The Proposal
It was the anniversary of the day we had shared our first kiss. We went to dinner as we normally would and began on our way home. Dave took a wrong turn and Tiresa asked where they were going. Dave responded with his plan: since our first kiss had occured in a park, Dave was going to take Tiresa to the large park in Fredericton and re-enact the event. Upon arriving on that very cold evening, we made our way to a picnic table and sat down. We kissed and Dave told Tiresa that she could have her gift there. Now, to back-track a little, Dave had been telling Tiresa since he had brought out the gift that he had not got her a ring and that her present was very breakable. He even went to the effort of buckling the gift in the back seat so that it was stable and would not shatter into a million pieces. Although, as there is in every woman who is hoping to be proposed to, there was still a glimmer of hope that the gift would be a ring, Tiresa was basically convinced that it was not. When she opened the box she saw a Beanie Baby bear. She took it out of the box and pleasantly(although somewhat dissappointedly), "Oh look, its Pecan"(really it was Cashew...but anyway). Just as she was about to go rooting around in the box again for the breakable part Dave told her to look a little closer at the bear. As she noticed the ring on the bear's arm her breath caught in her throat and, before he could Pop-the-Question, she kissed Dave and put it on. He did eventually get the question out and she said yes, of course.
