Maid of Honour
Amanda Clements

Amanda is the bride's best friend from high school. They met in grade ten music class but the friendship really took off in their final year of high school. Amanda has been there for Tiresa through everything: the good, the bad and the worst. She is a good friend, a great mom and a wonderful person.

Bridesmaids
Stephanie Delaney

Stephanie is the bride's sister. Although the two girls have not got along well in the past, they are trying to work out their differences, if not for their own sakes, for their mother's. Stephanie enjoys reading and spending time with friends and is currently working at Sobey's to get up the money to head off to business college.

Julie Read

Julie is definitely among Tiresa's oldest and dearest friends. According to parents, they have known each other since they were toddlers. Julie is currently at Acadia University working toward an eventual career in Optometry. She is definitely among the sweetest and most caring people in the world and although there is currently distance between them, she and the bride have always been close.

Cindy Power

Although the bride's friendship with Cindy is new in comparison with most of the other girls, she is probably Tiresa's closest friend in Fredericton. She is originally from Campbellton, NB and is currently teaching a grade one class at an elementary school in Oromocto, NB. Life is made even more hairy for the men in these girls' lives because Cindy is also planning a wedding.

Anna Nilsson

Anna and Tiresa met at UNB the year that Anna was on exchange from Sweden. The girls immediately hit it off and Tiresa even hosted Anna's parents from Sweden for a couple of nights before Christmas while they got their holiday living arrangements straightened out. Anna loves to read, particularily the classics like Jane Eyre and Anne of Green Gables and will, one day, be a brilliant biologist. Anna will be flying into Canada for the big event and will proceed to visit her many other friends here in Canada and will meet her parents in the beginning of September before she goes back to Sweden and as they are beginning their own tour of Canada for her father's 60th birthday.

Sarah Smith

The story of Sarah and Tiresa begins long ago. Picture it...Sicily...I mean...Bois Joli...Summer of 1993...Tiresa's second summer of French camp. There were many familiar faces as well as many new ones. As the kids got to know each other, a friendship began to grow between two girls, Tiresa and Sarah. Both were outgoing, friendly and somewhat crazy -- perfectly matched. When camp ended that summer the girls grew apart until one day, more than 5 years later, when, while Tiresa was standing outside of a classroom waiting to go in for her third class of the day on her first day at UNB, Sarah bumps right into her and recognizes her immediately. The girl's friendship has been flourishing ever since. Isn't it funny who you meet when you least expect it?:)
Sarah, like Tiresa, is an aspiring high school English/Special Education teacher. She has a lovely voice and is very talented and funny.

Best Man
Mark Lancaster

Mark is the groom's brother. On occasion the two are mistaken for twins so we will have to make sure no switches are made at the alter due to cold feet.

Also known for being the shorter and less handsome of the two. Suffers from paranoid delusions, and keeps a pet rat in his left armpit.

Groomsmen
Jacob Hanlon
"Wah, wha, how come I don't get a writeup. I still have to get you assholes a present."
aka "MOM" (don't ask...we don't know either...)

Graham Lounder
Ahhh...Graham.

Geordie MacDonald
Ach, he's wearin a kilt and killin a cat!

Christopher Miller
Ask to see his student ID (what's left of it anyway...)

Mark Wright
Monkeyboy!!!!!

Ushers

Evan Hickey
Psychoanalysis would do you good...

Philip Ma
Seriously, do you vaseline your toungue to get it that
shiny?

Honourary Mention
Brian MacDonald
Brian can't make it from Japan...the doors to the airplanes are too low. We'll miss his esteemed presence, Pinky&Brain humor, and general wierdness.

Hugh Fidler
Curling King indeed...

Bubble Blowers
Erik Bjarnason

The brother of the flower girl, Erik is seven. He has just begun school and is enjoying it immensely from what I hear. He is definitely one of the sweetest little boys in the world and will look adorable in a tuxedo.

Erin Bjarnason

Erin is a cousin of the bride. She is a beautiful four year old who is full of big words and big ideas.

Soloist/Musician
Courtney Lancaster

The girl with the beautiful voice and musical talent galour is Dave's little sister, Courtney. Courtney has graciously agreed to perform at least some of the music for the ceremony for us. Courtney is 14 and as well as having a lovely voice, plays piano, flute and violin. It took alot of work to get her to agree to do this for us and we are very much looking forward to it. Thank you Courtney!:)

Guitarist
Kerry Bjarnason

Tiresa's crazy cousin and father of the children participating in the wedding, Kerry will be accompanying Courtney on the guitar during her solo at the ceremony. Kerry used to do crazy things when the bride was little like take her boot and through it in the back of the truck but make her think that he had thrown it on the road and she would never see it again. He once put her in the freezer at the grocery store and went to the next the aisle to give her a little time to think about her predicament. He topped it all off by taking her driving when she was 14, even though she was very nervous, in his new-to-you Bronco and she smashed it into the biggest and nearest tree she could find.

Masters of Ceremonies
Larry Bjarnason

The bride's favorite uncle has done her the honour of agreeing to MC the reception and share the second dance with her. I am preparing to hide my face in shame already as he and Aunt Ruby pull out pictures and stories about me that are going to make me blush with embarassment.

Moe Smith

Dave's uncle has also been kind enough to agreed to MC the reception. This should make for a very entertaining evening:) Moe and his wife Jane are also making homemade wine to be served at the reception.

Dress Maker
Ruby Bjarnason

For the wedding of people with the last names Delaney and Lancaster, there sure are alot of Bjarnasons on here. Aunt Ruby has offered her sewing talents to our cause and so will be making most of the bridesmaids' dresses and probably the outfits for the kids too. Aunt Ruby was always there for Tiresa when she needed someone to cry on or to help her out or to remind her that she fit what used to be the perfect sized body just right no matter what anyone else said. She and Uncle Larry loved me and took care of me much more than they had to and I will always be grateful and indebted to them for that.
